Sacramento Kings radio voice Gary “G-Man” Gerould joined The Carmichael Dave Show with special guest host Kayte Christensen to discuss the Kings’ success this season, why he feels the city of Sacramento is rejuvenated, the similarities between the current roster and those at the turn of the century, and so much more.

“It’s certainly not about me, it’s for the fans and the Kings,” Gerould said on The Carmichael Dave Show with special guest host Kayte Christensen Friday. “To see the rejuvenation, to see a spark, we’re up to twenty sell-out crowds, we haven’t had twenty sellouts in a season in who knows how long. But it’s terrific all the way around. I mean, everybody benefits and absolutely I’m loving it, there’s no question about it.”

Topics discussed include:

  • What the Kings’ success means for the city of Sacramento
  • Has the aura around the city changed?
  • Why it was hard to cover the Kings in the early years
  • How Golden One Center has come alive this season
  • What has surprised G-Man the most this season?
  • If the Kings compete with playoff contenders down the stretch?
  • Are there similarities between Mike Brown and Rick Adelman?
