Giants Add Dixon Machado, Ford Proctor Ahead Of Trade Deadline

The San Francisco Giants have made a couple of moves before the MLB Trade deadline.
On Sunday, the Giants announced they completed a trade with the Chicago Cubs for infielder Dixon Machado for pitcher Raynel Espinal. The following day, the team announced a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays for catcher/infielder Ford Proctor in exchange for pitcher Jeremy Walker.

The 30-year-old Machado was hitting .312 for the Chicago Cubs AAA Iowa team.
