Gabe Kapler did not last the whole game Thursday against the Dodgers.
Everything started at the top of the sixth inning. Giants pitcher Jarlín García struck out Dodgers outfielder James Outman and then appeared to direct his celebration towards Mookie Betts, who was in the on-deck circle at the time. The two appeared to have exchanged words.
The umpiring crew walked over to the Giants’ dugout, presumably to warn them and that’s when the Giant’s manager lost his temper. After some yelling, Gabe Kapler was quickly ejected by the umpiring crew.
According to reports, this is Kapler’s first ejection as a manager with the Giants. Kainoa Correa took over managerial duties for the Giants for the remainder of the game.
The Dodgers got the last laugh though, defeating the Giants 5-3 and handing the orange and black their fourth straight loss.

Shortly before Gabe Kapler was ejected, another big name left the game. Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw left the game early with an apparent back injury.
