The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for Monday night’s matchup with the Arizona Cardinals in Colorado Springs.
During Friday’s edition of The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross, the guys were joined by Greg Papa, the radio voice of the San Francisco 49ers, to discuss the change of scenery and what he is most excited about between the 49ers and Cardinals game.
Topics discussed include:
- Why the team moved the practice to Colorado Springs instead of Mexico City
- How altitude in Mexico City has impacted NFL games in the past
- In 2005, the Cardinals and 49ers played the first NFL game in Mexico. The NFL returns to Mexico City for Monday Night Football after a two-year gap because of the COVID-19 pandemic
- Will the 49ers have an advantage because they trained in higher elevations the week leading up to Monday night?
- Budda Baker’s history with George Kittle and why the 49ers’ tight end loves playing against him.
