On Tuesday, Linden’s own Aaron Judge broke Roger Maris’ 61-year-old American League record for single-season home runs with his 62nd blast of the year.
Greg Vaughn, former MLB leftfielder, joined The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross Wednesday to discuss what Aaron Judge’s accomplishment means for the game of baseball. The Sacramento native ended his career with 355 homeruns and 1,475 hits. In 1998, Vaughn hit 50 homeruns as a member of the San Diego Padres.
Topics discussed include:
- Who does he consider to be the true home run leader, Aaron Judge or Barry Bonds?
- Should MLB release any steroid tests to prove Judge did this without any medication?
- How do today’s players compare to guys Vaughn played with and against?
- What Vaughn would like to see happen more often in baseball today.
