Feb 15, 2023, 3:30 PM | Updated: May 24, 2024, 7:13 am

The Athletic’s Hunter Patterson joined the Deuce & Mo Show Wednesday to talk about the Sacramento Kings and the team’s success this season.

They also discussed how big of a leap De’Aaron Fox has made his season, what Mike Brown has meant to the whole organization, and how he sees the Western Conference standings shaking out down the stretch run of the regular season.

“Not this season I would say, I didn’t know when it would come. But for me, I definitely enjoyed watching [De’Aaron Fox] at Kentucky. And I figured with the athleticism that he has and the way the game is played now, he at some point would put it together. But I didn’t know it would look like this,” Hunter Patterson said on the show Wednesday.

Topics discussed include:

  • How big of a leap has De’Aaron Fox made this season?
  • How important has Mike Brown been for the Sacramento Kings?
  • Why team chemistry and system are important in basketball
  • How has Keegan Murray fared in his rookie season?
  • What does Murray need to improve heading into the playoffs?
  • Has Malik Monk surpassed expectations?
