At one point there was questions about whether Brad Stevens had more value to starting a franchise than Giannis Antetokunmpo….the Bucks forward edged out Stevens by a couple of percentage points but the point was made. There was a point where the NBA (online) community valued a future back-to-back MVP just as much as a coach who, at the time, looked to be the next great coach in the league.
Carmichael Dave asks, if you were to do a complete franchise draft, is there any non-player (coach, GM, Front Office exec) that would be considered in the top 10 selections?
