Jason Gallagher on if the Kings are being taken seriously throughout the league

Feb 22, 2023, 4:00 PM | Updated: May 24, 2024, 7:13 am

Jason Gallagher from The Old Man & The Three w/ JJ Redick podcast joined the Deuce & Mo Show Wednesday to talk about the Sacramento Kings and the rest of the Western Conference.

They also discussed why the Kings are so likable, if Luka Donicic and Kyrie Irving can work and why Dallas and Sacramento could meet in the playoffs. Plus, what is it like to work with JJ Redick? All that and more on Deuce & Mo.

“I love those back-to-back games like that because it is like a mini-playoff series and the Kings and the Mavs very well might meet each other in the playoffs. So in that respect, it felt like a playoff vibe. Each team got one [game] over the other. It was a lot of fun,” Jason Gallagher said on the show Wednesday.

Topics discussed include:

  • Are the Kings being taken seriously by the rest of the Western Conference?
  • Could the Kings and Mavericks meet in the postseason?
  • Why the Kings are so likable
  • How does Jason assess Luka Donicic’s play this season?
  • Can Kyrie Irving adapt to Luka this season?
  • His experiences with JJ Redick and podcasting
  • Does JJ hate the Kings?
  • Is it possible to fix the All-Star Game?
  • Jason’s ideas to make All-Star Weekend more unique
