The two football teams Northern California follows, the Raiders and 49ers, are coming off Week 3 losses. The 49ers lost on prime-time to the Denver Broncos 11-10 and the Raiders came up short to the Titans 24-22.

Jeff Howe, NFL reporter for The Athletic, joined Cattles & Ramie on Tuesday to discuss the quarterback situation in San Francisco, the mounting losses in Las Vegas, and more NFL news heading into Week 4.

Topics discussed include:

  • Is there anything Jimmy Garoppolo can do to steal the 49ers quarterback job from Trey Lance?
  • What will the 49ers backup quarterback situation look like next season?
  • Should Denver be concerned about the contract situation with how poorly Russell Wilson has started his tenure with the Broncos?
  • Is it panic time for the Raiders?
  • Was Josh McDaniels the right hire for Las Vegas?
  • Is there tension between Mac Jones and the Patriots organization?
  • Lamar Jackson is “play phenomenal” and how this impacts his contract situation after the season ends.
