SACRAMENTO KINGS
Keegan Murray on ending the playoff drought, breaking the rookie 3PT record & more
Mar 31, 2023, 8:32 AM

It’s been a special season for first-year forward Keegan Murray.
Rookie of the Month (two times). A spot on the Rising Stars team. The NBA Rookie three-point record. A playoff berth.
All of these accomplishments are from a rookie that is still coming into his own as a professional talent, but Murray doesn’t act like most first-year players. The Iowa product brings a sense of stability that most teams dream of, and he has made an impact in the Sacramento Kings’ most successful season in 17 years.
Murray sat down with Carmichael Dave and Jason Ross following the Kings’ playoff clinch to talk about his rookie season, discussed what making the postseason means for this franchise, and much more.
