Keegan Murray says Kings ‘need to collectively work together’ in light of Sabonis injury

Sacramento Kings rookie forward Keegan Murray spoke to the media on Tuesday morning before facing two-time MVP Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
Murray discussed what the Kings need to do in light of injured center Domantas Sabonis’ potential absence, shared some updates on his injured thumb, and looked ahead to the back-to-back set of games against a strong Nuggets team.

The Sacramento Kings entered the 2022-23 season hoping to break a 16-year playoff drought. After hiring Mike Brown as the team’s new coach, the Kings drafted Keegan Murray as the number four overall pick. They continued to make moves over the summer, trading for Kevin Huerter and signing multiple free agents, including guard Malik Monk.
