Original story
Las Vegas Raiders added Davante Adams to its injury report with an illness this week, putting his play in question against the Los Angeles Chargers Thursday night.
Adams did not practice Wednesday, neither did running back Josh Jacobs, who suffered a quad injury in last Sunday’s loss to the Vikings. Both players are listed as questionable.
“Tt end of the day, if Josh Jacobs is ready to go, it’s the Josh Jacobs show, let’s not get fooled by that one,” Raiders’ interim coach Antonio Pierce said. “But you would definitely like to see Zamir get in there if there’s the opportunity this week or going forward. Any chance we can to see some of these younger players play, I mean, that’s a benefit for us in our future.”
Offensive tackle Kolton Miller has officially been ruled out.
On the other side of the ball, the Chargers have already ruled out wide receiver Keenan Allen. The 31-year-old receiver is having a career year, currently leading the NFL in receptions (108), targets (150), and is fourth in yards (1,243).
The Chargers are already down quarterback Justin Herbert, who suffered a broken right index finger in Week 14.
