The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross is in Mesa, Arizona for all of your Spring Training coverage as the guys had a chance to sit down with several members of the Oakland Athletics during Thursday’s show.

During Thursday’s show, Oakland Athletics utility man Tony Kemp joined the show to talk about the offseason, dive into the team’s recent roster changes and discuss the upcoming 2022 regular season.

In his second season with the A’s, Kemp batted .279 while hitting eight home runs and driving in 37 runs during the 2021 campaign. The 30-year-old boasted an .800 on-base plus slugging percentage, walking 52 times (more than his 51 strikeouts.)

Kemp possesses the ability to play all around the diamond, logging innings at second base, shortstop and left field during the 2021 season.
