“I think just understand what we’re trying to execute, know where we’re trying to get the ball, and know what our advantages are just to make the offense easier on us,” Ellis said.
His improved handle was on show throughout the performance, running the pick-and-roll and hotting pocket passes to the big in the process.
While his first half production did not keep up in the second, his effectiveness helped the team tremendously. Having started a handful of games on the main roster last season, his production is vital for the Kings headed into the next year.

The Kings’ Las Vegas Summer League slate continues on Thursday afternoon with a matchup against second-overall pick Alex Sarr and the Washington Wizards. Action will tip off at 4:00 p.m. PDT and be broadcast on ESPN.
