The Kevin Huerter Show is BACK–and this time, the guys were able to meet up in Portland!

Huerter sat down with Carmichael Dave and Jason Ross to discuss the Sacramento Kings’ postseason clinch as fans around the 916 celebrate the end of the 16-season playoff drought.

In his first year with the Kings, Huerter has been an impactful presence on the offensive end–especially from beyond the arc, as ‘Red Velvet”s 194 made three-point field goals are the seventh-most during a single season in franchise history.

To hear Huerter’s full interview with Dave and Jason, click ‘play’ on the video located at the top of the page or click here.

Topics Discussed:

  • Kevin talks about what the end of the playoff drought means for the fanbase
  • “Just coming in and seeing what fans have gone through, you can see how much it means to everybody.”
  • Will basketball ever adopt baseball’s champagne celebrations?
  • Huerter showered Keegan Murray with water in the locker room after the forward broke the rookie three-point record
  • Was Kevin able to soak in the scene in Portland as Kings fans began to chant ‘light the beam’ near the end of the game?
  • “It never gets old hearing ‘light the beam’ in someone else’s arena.”
