Sacramento Kings guard Kevin Huerter spoke to the media following Monday night’s 136-111 blowout win over the Orlando Magic at Golden 1 Center.
Huerter and the rest of a red-hot Kings offense established a new single-game franchise record for made three-point field goals (23) during the win, as Sacramento finished the night having shot 50 percent from beyond the arc.
‘Red Velvet’ contributed with four of those made triples as the guard scored 14 points (four-of-eight from deep) and handed out four assists over 21 minutes of action.
The 24-year-old spoke about the team’s three-point shooting, the importance of winning games at home, and much more following the win.
The Sacramento Kings entered the 2022-23 season hoping to break a 16-year playoff drought. After hiring Mike Brown as the team’s new coach, the Kings drafted Keegan Murray as the number four overall pick. They continued to make moves over the summer, trading for Kevin Huerter and signing multiple free agents, including guard Malik Monk.
