A two-time NBA Finals MVP. The greatest three-point shooter in basketball history. One of the greatest scorers of all time.
Kawhi Leonard. Steph Curry. Kevin Durant.
Those are three players that are included in this week’s Stat of the Week.
Since the beginning of the 2019-20 season, just 10 NBA players have averaged 15+ points and 5+ rebounds per game while shooting 38 percent or higher from three-point land. Leonard, Curry, and Durant are three of those players, and one current member of the Sacramento Kings is also named on the list:
11-year veteran forward, Harrison Barnes.

Here’s the entire list (ranked in order by win shares):
- Karl Anthony-Towns – 20.7
- Khris Middleton – 19.6
- Kawhi Leonard – 17.5
- Steph Curry – 17.3
- John Collins – 16.7
- Harrison Barnes – 15.1
- Kevin Durant – 13.4
- Christian Wood – 12.7
- Gordan Hayward – 12.1
- Paul George – 11.3
I know what you’re thinking. This is a “cherry-picked” stat. To that, I say that numbers are numbers. Opinions are opinions, but stats are forever. Since joining the Kings in 2019, Barnes has been a respectable talent in the small forward position.
Over 235 appearances with Sacramento, the North Carolina product is averaging 15.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 47 percent from the field and 39 percent from beyond the arc. Barnes is an unofficial captain of this Kings team, both on and off the floor, and somebody that is widely respected around the entire league.
On the floor, the results are there for Barnes. Per the Stat of the Week, the 30-year-old has played his way into some exclusive company. As he enters the final year of his four-year contract, expect Barnes to continue his solid play as the forward aims to secure one more lengthy contract next summer.
