Another week of no practice means another game missed for 49ers defensive tackle Arik Armstead.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed that the defensive lineman will miss Week 11’s contest against the Arizona Cardinals. The announcement marks the eighth game the player will miss this season.

Armstead, a Sacramento native, has been dealing with ankle and foot issues for the better part of the regular season. The team revealed that the Sacramento native has a hairline fracture in his left ankle and plantar fascia in his right foot, forcing him to be off the gridiron since Week 4 against the LA Rams.

He has not practiced with the team since.

Meanwhile, fellow defensive lineman Samson Ebukam will be questionable this week, dealing with a quad injury. The former Los Angeles Ram suffered the injury after the team’s Bye Week, forcing him to Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers. After working off to the side of practice to start the week, Ebukam logged two limited sessions to on Friday and Saturday.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward was also back at practice Saturday, rejoining the team after dealing with a personal matter the previous two days.
