Another week of no practice means another game missed for 49ers defensive tackle Arik Armstead.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed that the defensive lineman will miss Week 11’s contest against the Arizona Cardinals. The announcement marks the eighth game the player will miss this season.
Armstead, a Sacramento native, has been dealing with ankle and foot issues for the better part of the regular season. The team revealed that the Sacramento native has a hairline fracture in his left ankle and plantar fascia in his right foot, forcing him to be off the gridiron since Week 4 against the LA Rams.
He has not practiced with the team since.
