Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams returned to practice Wednesday after a short absence.
The Raiders began the first of two joint practices Wednesday with the Los Angeles Rams in Thousand Oaks, California.
Davante Adams suffered what appeared to be a leg injury last Friday at the Raiders’ headquarters in Henderson, Nevada. McDaniels said at the time he didn’t think the injury “was crazy serious.”

Also, wide receiver Hunter Renfrow and tight end Michael Mayer practiced after being out with unspecified injuries. Several other Raiders didn’t make the trip.
“We’re trying to take the right steps with each guy so that we can get them back healthy and ready to go,” McDaniels said.
Raiders active rookie
The Las Vegas Raiders also removed first-round draft pick Tyree Wilson off the non-football injury list on Wednesday. Head coach Josh McDaniels said it’s time for Wilson to take the next steps.
“Get him on the field and get him in his pads. Start working towards the ability to be in team drills and all the rest of that stuff,” McDaniels said. “So, we’ll try to take it at the right pace here as we go.”
Defensive end Maxx Crosby said the rookie has been asking a lot of questions.
“This was his first day out there with us,” Crosby said. “So, he wasn’t able to go in team and things like that, but you see him asking a ton of questions and getting better. So, it’s awesome to see him out there with us.”
