Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden attempted to set meeting with running back Marshawn Lynch to discuss his future with the team earlier in the month.
This later sparked rumors when Raiders Lounge Podcast stated a source informed them that Lynch was a no-show to his scheduled meeting with Gruden and missed calls.
Lynch’s agent Doug Hendrickson quickly shut down the bloggers allegations by tweeting:
“To all the couch potato non verified media ppl [people] speaking on Marshawn Lynch-get a real job and check sources! #beastmode”
A week later NBC Sports reported that Raiders head couch and running back ‘briefly’ met on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Vic Tafur of The Athletic tweeted on Tuesday morning;
‘Gruden to Lynch, per
@bySLPrice: “We need the real deal. If you’re going to put those letters on the back of your jersey, man, you’ve got to back it up. Marshawn – right? We don’t need another back, we need a feature back.”#Raiders‘
