Mexico Fails To Overcome ‘The Curse Of The Fifth Game’

Early Friday morning, Mexico was eliminated from the 2018 Fifa World Cup after a 2-0 loss against Brazil.
Mexico has been eliminated at the Round of 16 for seven tournaments straights, thus continuing to be struck with the ‘curse of the fifth game.’
Brazil passed Germany’s record of 226 goals with Neymar and Roberto Firmino adding on Brazil’s 227th goal.
Uruguay, France, Brazil, Croatia, Russia have secured a spot in the quarter-finals.
Belgium and Japan will face off on Friday at 11am PST.
Sweden and Switzerland, as well as, Colombia and England are set to face off for a spot in the quarter-finals on Tuesday.
