Former Sacramento Kings guard Mike Bibby joined The Deuce & Mo Show Tuesday to talk about his experience seeing the team play the Grizzlies Monday, comparing his teammates to today’s Kings’ roster, and more.

Topics discussed include:

  • How it feels to be back in Sacramento and people are still chanting his name
  • When he knew he was part of a special squad in Sacramento and how easy it was to click with everyone
  • How seeing Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox play reminded him of him and his teammates
  • “Definitely I think he [Sabonis] should be an All-Star, both of them. I hope that they get the respect they deserve. They deserve it.”
  • What makes a good lock-down team defense?
  • Which former teammates Mike Bibby still talks to today.
  • Why he’s not surprised the fans are still as loud as they were 20 years ago.
  • “That was one of the top reasons why I wanted to come to Sacramento. You’re never going to have a bad day with the fans.”
  • His involvement in Fan Controlled Hoops and what people can expect at games.
