The San Francisco Giants returned closer Camilo Doval to the active roster this past weekend after a demotion to Triple-A Sacramento earlier this month and optioned right-hander Landen Roupp to Sacramento.
Doval was sent down on Aug. 9, one day after the right-hander had his fifth blown save of the season.
