The injury bug has bitten the San Francisco Giants to start this season, but reinforcements are on the way.
Prior to Monday night’s walk-off win over the Houston Astros, San Francisco shared updates on several key players as they work their way back from the injured list.
Reigning National League Cy Young Award winner and prized free-agent acquisition Blake Snell (left groin strain) and 2021 American League Cy Young Award winner Robbie Ray (Tommy John surgery recovery) are both progressing from their injuries as they look to return for the Giants’ stretch run this summer.
Here is a full list of updates–including news on one player who will join the Sacramento River Cats this week.
