Logan Webb snapped a personal three-game losing streak, Mike Yastrzemski hit a two-run home run and the San Francisco Giants salvaged a win in their three-game series against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers with a 4-1 victory Wednesday night.
Heliot Ramos and Luis Matos also drove in runs for the Giants, who successfully rebounded from a 10-2 shellacking 24 hours earlier.
One loss away from equaling a career-worst losing streak, Webb (4-4) blanked the Dodgers on three hits for six innings. He walked three and struck out five.
It was the third time this season that the defending National League Cy Young Award runner-up pitched shutout ball for six or more innings.

More on Giants vs. Dodgers
Yastrzemski’s homer, his fourth of the season, followed a single by Curt Casali in the third and gave the Giants a lead they never relinquished. The homer came off Dodgers starter Elieser Hernandez (0-1), who was promoted from Triple-A Oklahoma City before the game.
The Giants tacked on single runs in the sixth on Ramos’ double that scored Thairo Estrada, and in the eighth on Matos’ single that plated LaMonte Wade Jr.
Hernandez worked six innings, allowing three runs and four hits. He walked one and struck out three.
The lone Los Angeles run came in the eighth after Freddie Freeman and Will Smith had singled in a 3-0 game against the Giants’ fourth pitcher, Tyler Rogers. Max Muncy’s sacrifice fly made it 3-1, before Rogers struck out Teoscar Hernandez and got Gavin Lux to ground out.
Protecting a three-run lead, Camilo Doval walked Mookie Betts with two outs in the ninth, after which Shohei Ohtani singled, again bringing the potential tying run to the plate. But Doval then got Freeman to ground out to second, locking up his seventh save.
Yastrzemski had two hits for the Giants, who evened their record on a nine-game homestand at 3-3.
Betts, Ohtani and Freeman had two hits apiece for the Dodgers, whose seven hits were all singles.
