Brett Wisely had three hits, including a tiebreaking RBI single leading off the 10th inning, as the visiting San Francisco Giants mounted another late-inning comeback to defeat the New York Mets 7-2 on Saturday afternoon in the middle game of a three-game series.

Patrick Bailey had an RBI single in the sixth and LaMonte Wade Jr. tied the score with a run-scoring single in the ninth for the Giants, who have won four straight, all after trailing in the eighth inning or later.

Wisely’s 10th-inning single against Sean Reid-Foley (1-2) scored automatic runner Curt Casali. Bailey ended up walking with the bases loaded, and Mike Yastrzemski laced a three-run triple two outs later.

Luke Jackson (3-1) earned the win with a hitless ninth.

Starling Marte belted his sixth homer of the season in the second and Brett Baty hit a tiebreaking solo shot in the seventh for the Mets, who have lost five in a row and are 6-16 this month.

Giants starter Jordan Hicks allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out eight over five innings. Mets starter Luis Severino allowed one run on two hits and three walks while striking out six over seven innings.

Severino retired the first 12 batters he faced and didn’t surrender a hit until Wisely singled with one out in the sixth to begin the Giants’ game-tying rally. Wisely moved to second when Luis Matos drew a walk, took third when Thairo Estrada grounded into a forceout and scored on Bailey’s single.

Severino then tossed a hitless top of the seventh before Baty’s one-out home run in the home half of the frame — his fourth homer of the season — put Severino in line for the win.

Adam Ottavino worked around a single and a hit batsman in a scoreless eighth before Edwin Diaz blew the save opportunity in the ninth. Ex-New York infielder Wilmer Flores led off with a single before pinch runner Ryan McKenna stole second and scored on the single by Wade, who was pinch-hitting for Heliot Ramos.
