Matt Chapman Sends Heartfelt Plea to Oakland A’s Fans

Following a massive Oakland A’s win over the Seattle Mariners last night in front of a small Coliseum crowd of just over 10,000 fans, A’s third baseman Matt Chapman sent a message to fans on live TV, encouraging them to show up and support a fun and exciting young team that has taken the baseball world by storm.

The A’s currently hold the 2nd AL Wild Card spot, two-and-a-half games ahead of the Mariners. They are also hot on the heels of the AL West leading Houston Astros, who are desperately holding onto a two game lead.
