Oakland A’s Swap Pitchers with the Los Angeles Dodgers

The Oakland A’s have announced a deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers, acquiring right-handed pitcher Wilmer Font for minor league lefty Logan Salow.

Font was designated for assignment by Los Angeles on Monday after an 0-2 start to the season with an 11.32 ERA out of the bullpen.  He is currently tied for the league leader in home runs allowed by a relief pitcher with five in 10.1 innings of work. Opposing hitters are batting .383 against him in his six relief appearances this season.
