There are few things more polarizing in sports than video game ratings, and NBA 2K24’s batch of ratings for their new game will assuredly create many debates in the coming days.
Unlike previous years, the Sacramento Kings are coming off of a successful season that saw the franchise snap a 16-season playoff drought and claim a Pacific Division title for the first time since the 2002-03 season.
With All-Star and All-NBA talents De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis leading the way, it’s fair to expect an increase in ratings on Sacramento’s end for NBA 2K24.
Without further adieu, here are the 2k ratings for the Kings’ top six players:

While it may be disappointing to see De’Aaron Fox’s rating below the 90 mark, the guard did jump from an 84 in last year’s early NBA 2K ratings to an 88.
Even Domantas Sabonis, who delivered a career year for the Kings in 2022-23, jumped from an 86 to an 87 in this season’s edition.
Malik Monk made the most significant jump by any Sacramento player featured, as the high-scoring guard’s 82 rating for NBA 2K24 comes in six points higher than his 76 rating in NBA 2K23.
Keegan Murray’s 80 rating is just one point higher than his 79 rating in NBA 2K23, arguably the most disappointing out of the six players listed. After breaking the NBA’s rookie three-point record and playing at an impressive level during the NBA Playoffs, a more considerable boost was warranted in Murray’s case.
Other Kings’ rating comparisons between 2K24 & 2K23:
- Kevin Huerter: 80 in 2K24, 76 in 2K23
- Harrison Barnes: 79 in 2K24, 80 in 2K23
NBA 2K24 will be released on Friday, September 8th. You can find more information about the game by clicking here.
