The return of NBA basketball is close, meaning we will soon see another installment of NBA 2K hit store shelves.
With the 2024-25 regular season schedule being released last week, fans can begin circling their calendars for their respective team’s season openers. Now, they can also look ahead to the release of NBA 2K25 on Friday, September 6th.
Seeing that release day is just over two weeks away, some NBA 2K25 ratings have been revealed, including the first 70 players from the top 100 players list.
Sacramento forward Keegan Murray (80 overall) and recently-acquired star DeMar DeRozan (87 overall) were already featured in the NBA 2K25 top-100 rankings, and now two other Kings have made the list:
Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox, with both players securing ratings of 88–good enough to be two of the top 30 players in the game.
Along with Fox and Sabonis, other notable stars to secure similar NBA 2K25 ratings are New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson (88), Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo (88), Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George (89), and Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (89).

When is the next Sacramento Kings offseason date of interest?
Now that we know when the Kings will suit up for their season-opener, we can look forward to October 24th for the Beam Team’s season-opening matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Training camps will begin at the end of September, meaning there could still be a move or two up general manager Monte McNair’s sleeve to round out Sacramento’s roster before players report to Golden 1 Center.
