One of those reactions came from Jon Rothstein, College Basketball insider for CBS Sports, who called the pick “tremendous” for Sacramento.

During Thursday’s edition of The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross, Rothstein joined the guys to share why he thinks Carter, the Big East Player of the Year, is ready for the NBA stage.

Plus, Rothstein compared the newest member of the Kings to a franchise great with whom he will soon be familiar upon his arrival in Sacramento.
