De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings will begin the 2024-25 regular season next week–but this season will come with a heightened level of importance for the veteran guard.
Fox, who has two years remaining on his contract, could be eligible for a sizeable extension next summer if he makes an All-NBA team. In light of that possibility, Fox has reportedly decided to wait to sign an extension with Sacramento.
The Athletic’s Sam Amick joined The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross to share his thoughts on why Fox is waiting to sign a long-term pact with the Kings, give his take on where Sacramento stands in the loaded Western Conference, and much more.
