Former Sacramento Kings All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins has recently been playing professional basketball overseas for the Taiwan Beer Leopards of the T1 league.

On Saturday, they completed a 4-0 sweep in the T1 Finals over the Taipei Taishin Mars. DeMarcus Cousins averaged 25.3 points and 14.8 rebounds in the Finals, which was highlighted by a 24-point, 24-rebound performance in the clinching matchup.

While his professional basketball future is uncertain, the 33 year old was able to add much deserved hardware to his resume in Taiwan.

The last time DeMarcus Cousins played in the NBA was 31 games for Michael Malone and the Denver Nuggets in the 2021-22 season. His encouraging performance could re-ignite interest from league executives, but either way, it’s a credit to DeMarcus Cousins for the success he has quickly found overseas.

When is the next NBA off-season date of interest?

The NBA Draft is now a two-night event.
