The Drive Guys were joined Tuesday by Sacramento Kings’ legend Jerry Reynolds. Reynolds has functioned as the Kings’ head coach, general manager, color broadcaster, and plenty more. When speaking with the guys, the conversation began with recent LeBron James and Larry Bird All-Time comparisons.
Jerry Reynolds is more than familiar with Bird, both having grown up in French Lick, Indiana and was able to provide stellar insight. In his opinion, James is more comparable to Magic Johnson than Bird, but he had high praise for the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.
Jerry Reynolds referred to James as “the greatest player” who has ever played.
Other topics discussed with Jerry Reynolds:
- Malik Monk’s looming free agency
- Should Mike Brown be extended ASAP?
- What is a reasonable head coach contract in 2024?
- How can the Sacramento Kings continue to improve in the offseason?
- Derrick Jones Jr. and other free agency options
- And plenty more!
When is the next Sacramento Kings off-season date of interest?
The NBA Draft is now a two-night event.
