More Sacramento Kings coverage from Sactown Sports

It didn’t take long for things to get chippy between the Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets on Tuesday night, as three technical fouls were handed out during the first half.

Tensions were already high amid the Kings’ poor start to the regular season, and a glaring question emerged as they faced an early deficit against the surging Rockets: Respond or rollover?

Sacramento answered the call emphatically, erasing an 11-point lead and turning in one of its best performances of the young season during a 120-111 win at Golden 1 Center.

The win arrived at a much-needed time for the Kings (10-12), as they snapped a four-game home losing streak in style by defeating the number-two seed in the Western Conference.
