The 2024 California Classic Summer League will occur simultaneously at Golden 1 Center and Chase Center. The Sacramento Kings are the only team that has a team participating in each tournament, with the roster announced Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, Sean Cunningham reported that Sacramento’s recent lottery pick, Devin Carter, will not participate in the entirety of Summer League due to a shoulder injury.

Without Carter, there is still plenty of intriguing talent on the Golden 1 Center roster, including Keon Ellis and Colby Jones. The full first roster is as follows:

Doug Christie will be the head coach for that California Classic team, joined by assistants Lindsey Harding, Leandro Barbosa, Jimmy Alapag, Dipesh Mistry, Elijah Brown, and Mate Jakab.

As for the roster that will be playing San Francisco, it will feature Jordan Ford, Dane Goodwin, Yves Pons, and Xavier Sneed. Jawad Williams will be the head coach, along with assistants Will Scott, Robbie Lemons, Sam Longwood, Biggie Goldman, Julien Zoa, and TJ Parker.

With the California Classic around the corner, Sacramento will showcase plenty of its young talent before Las Vegas.

When is the next NBA off-season date of interest?

Now that the NBA Draft is in the rearview, all eyes will shift to the start of free agency.

All 30 teams will be able to negotiate free-agent deals with players beginning this Sunday, June 30th, at 3:00 PM PDT.

Sacramento already did some heavy lifting by agreeing to a four-year, $78 million deal with Sixth Man of the Year runner-up Malik Monk, as the two sides agreed on a long-term contract last weekend.
