According to the Sacramento Kings, they have signed 6’5 guard Brodric Thomas, making him their final addition to the 2024-25 training camp roster.
The Truman State alum went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft after recording 21.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.8 steals on 49.7/41.7/80.9 shooting splits in his 33.9 minutes over 31 games during his fifth and final collegiate season.
He played 32 total games in this rookie season with the Houston Rockets (four games), Cleveland Cavaliers (28 games), and Boston Celtics (12 games), totaling 459 minutes of action. However, that was the only season he was on a main NBA roster, having been in the G-League since.
Thomas posted averages of 14.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in 30.1 minutes per game while shooting 42.2% from the field in 46 career games in the NBA G League with the Canton Charge (2020-21), Rio Grande Valley Vipers (2020-21), Maine Celtics (2021-22), and Ontario Clippers (2023-24).
A native of Bolingbrook, Ill., Thomas played four seasons at Truman State University where he set a new Truman record for most points in a season with 666 and was fifth in Truman history in scoring average at 21.5 points per game.

When is the next Sacramento Kings offseason date of interest?
Now that we know when the Kings will suit up for their season-opener, we can look forward to October 24th for the Beam Team’s season-opening matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Training camps will begin at the end of September, meaning there could still be a move or two up general manager Monte McNair’s sleeve to round out Sacramento’s roster before players report to Golden 1 Center.
