Original story from July 24th:

The Sacramento Kings have found their third-string center behind Domantas Sabonis and Alex Len. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Kings have signed a one-year agreement with seven-foot big man Orlando Robinson.

In his two seasons with the Miami Heat, Robinson played 729 minutes throughout the course of 67 combined games. In nine G-League games played with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, he averaged 24.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.1 blocks, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 steals on 57.5 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from three, and 63.2 percent on free-throws in 33.6 minutes.

Up to this point, he’s been a player who has excelled in the G-League and Summer League but has been unable to translate that effectiveness to the highest level. Sometimes, a change of scenery can make all the difference.
