It’s been roughly one year since the Sacramento Kings’ longest-tenured player, De’Aaron Fox, agreed to a deal with Under Armour, specifically under the Curry Brand. Now, he’s getting a signature shoe with them, the Curry Fox 1’s.

As reported by Sneaker News, “According to Senior Footwear Designer Ed Wallace, the Curry Fox 1 will be a low-cut model with a strap. The silhouette itself has a “runner” in mind given Fox’s speed and ability to cover maximum ground on the hardwood.

As mentioned in the article, Fox will join Curry in the Curry Brand tour in China next week, potentially marking the first unveiling of the Curry Fox 1’s.

Fox is eligible for a supermax extension next offseason if he were to be awarded All-NBA honors. Don’t be surprised to see him chasing that mark and a postseason run alongside Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan, and Malik Monk in a few colorways of the new Curry Fox 1’s.

When is the next Sacramento Kings offseason date of interest?

Now that we know when the Kings will suit up for their season-opener, we can look forward to October 24th, when the Beam Team will face the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Training camps will begin at the end of September, meaning general manager Monte McNair could still make a move or two — potentially including signing some of the above NBA free agents — to round out Sacramento before players report to Golden 1 Center.
