According to K.C. Johnson, Bulls Insider for NBC Sports Chicago, the Sacramento Kings were not the only team willing to trade draft capital for Alex Caruso before he was eventually moved to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Josh Giddey.

Kevin “Whitey” Gleason and Kyle Draper, play-by-play broadcaster for the Kings (a.k.a The Drive Guys), reacted to the news and what can be gathered as relevant to Sacramento’s offseason. Is it telling that they seem to get outbid often?

“League sources indicated that the New York Knicks and Sacramento Kings both offered draft capital to the Bulls in packages they felt were superior to the one-for-one deal.”
