It’s that time of the NBA season. Right after preseason games wrap up, some teams quickly make their roster cuts. After being allowed 21 total spots in camp, the regular season limit is 18. The Sacramento Kings made their cuts Friday morning.

The team announced that they had “waived Boogie Ellis, Skal Labissiere, Terry Taylor, and Brodric Thomas.”

Those decisions created room for new additions to fill out their G-League roster.

“In addition, the Kings have signed Antoine Davis, Drew Timme, and Shareef O’Neal, who are all expected to join the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings.”

Davis and Timme were on Sacramento’s 2024 Summer League rosters, while O’Neal spent last season with the G League Ignite.

All three spent most of their time in the G-League system last year. O’Neal averaged 5.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. Davis recorded 17.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in his 29 games with the Rip City Remix. Timme was with the Wisconsin Herd, averaging 9.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

New Stockton head coach Quinton Crawford will have intriguing talent to work with. Two-way players Isaac Jones, Mason Jones, and Isaiah Crawford are also expected to play in a significant number of G-League games.
