On today’s edition of The Drive Guys, they were joined by one of the newest Sacramento Kings’ two-way players, Lousiana Tech alum Isaiah Crawford.

They discussed his decision to attend LA Tech, his journey to the NBA, what he can bring to the Kings on both ends of the floor, how he’s adjusting to life in Sacramento, and more.

During his final collegiate season, the 6’6 forward averaged 16.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.7 blocks on 48.5 percent from the field, 41.4 percent from three on 3.1 attempts per game, and 72.8 percent from the free throw line.

When asked what he thinks Kings’ fans will be most impressed by, he first highlighted his defensive versatility.

“Just being versatile, switching on everybody,” Isaiah Crawford said. “Being able to guard people’s best (players)… as the season goes on, I think my offensive game will start opening up.”

With an overwhelming seven-foot wingspan and great defensive metrics in college, it’s easy to see his appeal on that end of the floor.
