It took Draymond Green less than five minutes to get tossed from Wednesday’s game against the Magic.

On the road in Orlando, the Golden State Warriors found themselves down a man quickly. The ironic part was Green wasn’t even called for the initial foul.

Andrew Wiggins was guarding Paolo Banchero. As the Magic forward was backing down Wiggins, Stephen Curry swiped at the ball and got called for a shooting foul.

Green, who picked up his first technical for arguing with officials earlier in the game, was assessed a second technical as he argued against the foul call on Curry.

That ejection was the fourth for Draymond Green this season and his 21st total in his career. According to ESPN, Green is “the only player with multiple first-quarter ejections in a season over the past 20 seasons.”

Curry didn’t look please that his teammate was tossed.

The Warriors went into Wednesday’s matchup against the Magic with a one-game lead over the Houston Rockets for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference standings.
