NBA announce 2025 Dunk Contest Participants

The NBA All-Star weekend is starting to take shape. All-Star starters were announced last week, and now the dunk contest participants are known as well.

According to ESPN‘s Shams Charania, the dunk contest will feature Orlando’s Mac McClung, San Antonio’s Stephon Castle, Chicago’s Matas Buzelis, and Milwaukee’s Andre Jackson Jr.

Two rookies will look to overtake McClung, who is aiming to be the first player to win three consecutive.

All-Star weekend will occur from February 14th to the 16th, with the dunk contest scheduled for Feb. 15th. The days of star-studded dunk contests seem to be fading away, but these four young players will have the opportunity to put on a show at Chase Center in San Francisco.

Coming into Brooklyn to face a Nets team without four starters and had lost 11 of their last 12 games, Monday night was an opportunity for the Sacramento Kings to get back into the win column.

Brooklyn had lost six in a row (11 of their last 12), while the Kings were 0-2 in their ongoing road trip.

The Nets were dealing with a slew of injuries, while Doug Christie had a fully healthy roster available to him. It was a slow offensive night, but enough to get their first win on their ongoing six-game road trip.
