Sacramento Kings set new franchise record for made 3-pointers in a quarter
In the first quarter against the Grizzlies, the Sacramento Kings made 12 three-pointers, tying the NBA record for made threes in a quarter.

The Sacramento Kings needed only one quarter to get into the record books.
During the first quarter of Monday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, the Kings made 12 three-pointers, tying the NBA record for made three-pointers in a quarter.

According to the Sacramento Bee’s Jason Anderson, the Kings also set a new franchise record for three-pointer shots made in any quarter. The team’s Twitter account also noted the Kings also set a season-high for points in the 1st quarter with 47.
According to @EliasSports, the Sacramento Kings set a new franchise record and tied the NBA record for made 3s in a quarter. The Kings are now the third team with 12 3s in a quarter, joining the Phoenix Suns (4/12/21) and Portland Trail Blazers (5/10/21).

By halftime, Harrison Barnes, was leading the team in scoring with 15 points and 5 of 6 from behind the three-point line. Rookie Keegan Murray was close behind him with 14 points on 3 or 4 shooting from three.
