Sacramento Kings release 2026-27 training camp roster

The Sacramento Kings have officially announced their 2026-27 training camp roster, with 19 players competing for spots and roles ahead of the new season.

There aren’t many surprises on the list, as Sacramento’s roster features its established core alongside the team’s three 2026 NBA Draft picks.

That group is headlined by Darius Acuff Jr., who was selected No. 7 overall in June.

The former Arkansas standout will get his first real opportunity to work with Sacramento’s veterans after a summer that included some ups and downs in Las Vegas. Fellow rookies Alex Karaban and Emanuel Sharp are also on the roster.

The Kings will have plenty of familiar faces in camp, including Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine, Malik Monk, De’Andre Hunter, Keegan Murray, and Precious Achiuwa.

There are also several players who will be competing for opportunities as the Kings figure out the back end of the roster. Nique Clifford, Maxime Raynaud, Tristen Newton, Daegwon Plowden, Elfrid Payton and Ron Simmons are among those listed.

Mogbo and Adam Flagler are listed as two-way players.

This will also be the first training camp under head coach Doug Christie, who is entering his first full season in charge. Christie will be joined by associate head coach Mike Woodson and assistants Brendan Suhr, Mike Miller, Chris Darnell, Leandro Barbosa and DJ Ham.

For the Kings, the next few weeks will be about figuring out how all of these pieces fit together. With a mix of veterans, young players and three rookies looking to establish themselves, there should be plenty of competition once training camp gets underway.
