First the boo birds came out Thursday night at the Golden 1 Center. Then, the fried birds hit the floor. Fans let out their frustration early, booing the Sacramento Kings in the first quarter after they let the New Orleans Pelicans get up 31-11 in the first quarter.
Then, with seconds remaining in a game that was all but over, a presumably Sacramento fan, threw a chicken wing onto the court. The game was momentarily stopped, which led to this rant from TNT’s Kevin Harlan.
“Somebody’s throwing something on the floor. Why would someone throw something that good out on the floor?” the play-by-play broadcaster asked his partner, Reggie Miller. “It’s crispy, it’s warm, and I almost had to go out and get it, I’m so hungry.”

According to the NBA’s Fan Code of Conduct, “guests who engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the court will be immediately ejected from the arena.” However, we’re not sure if security was able to find the chicken wing thrower and reprimand them.
But hey, at least it wasn’t vomit!
