Two members of the Sacramento Kings organization were recognized for their performances in the NBA G League. Both DaQuan Jeffries and Killian Hayes earned spots on various All-NBA G League Teams for the 2025-26 season.

In 28 regular-season games played with the Stockton Kings, Sacramento’s G League affiliate, Jeffries led the team in scoring with 23.5 points per game while shooting 51.5 percent from the field and an impressive 43.6 percent from three on 7.8 attempts per game.

That placed him 10th in points per game at that level, and one of just four players to average 20+ points while shooting above 50 percent from the field and 40 percent from three.

Thanks to that production and Stockton’s success as a group, Jeffries was named to the 2025-26 All-NBA G League First Team. Tristan Enaruna (Cleveland), Zhaire Smith (Oklahoma City), and Charles Bassey (Santa Cruz) were the other three to do so, all scoring at a lower rate than Jeffries.

Isaac Jones (Motor City), who started his career and this season with Sacramento before being waived to make room for Precious Achiuwa, also earned those honors along with Mac McClung (Windy City), Tristen Newton (Rio Grande Valley), and Lester Quinones (Osceola).

Had he not spent the last two months at the NBA level, Hayes probably would have cracked that list as well. Instead, he was named to the All-NBA G League Second Team. Before signing with the Kings in late February, the former lottery pick played 19 games with the Cleveland Charge. In that stretch, he averaged 22.4 points, 8.5 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game while playing 32.9 minutes per game.

Other members of the second team were Kobe Bufkin (South Bay), A.J. Lawson (Raptors), Jahmir Young (Sioux Falls), and Drew Timme (South Bay). Timme also previously spent a few years playing for Stoctkon.

The All-NBA G League Third Team lacked any Stockton representation as it included RayJ Dennis (College Park), PJ Hall (Greensboro), Ron Harper Jr. (Maine), Alijah Matin (Raptors), and Daishen Nix (Rio Grande Valley).

More on DaQuan Jeffries & Killian Hayes

Assumedly due to Sacramento head coach Doug Christie dealing with extremely shorthanded rosters as the team has dealt with a slew of injuries, Jeffries recently earned a 10-day contract with the main squad. He appeared in 60 minutes over three games, recording 31 points on 11/19 shooting before re-joining Stockton for their postseason run.

Looking to defend their G League title from last season, Stockton won throughout the single elimination portion of the G League playoffs and is set to face off against the Greensboro Swarm in a best-of-three series for the championship.

It provides a relatively larger stage for Jeffries to showcase his contributions, as the 28-year-old is still pushing to solidify himself in the NBA after previous stints with the Kings, Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, New York Knicks, Charlotte Hornets, and a brief stop overseas.

Meanwhile, Hayes has been a regular in Sacramento’s rotation for nearly two months now. In 20 games at the NBA level, the guard has tallied 4.7 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.4 rebounds.

Coach Christie has often praised his more traditional point guard style and defensive impact, while acknowledging that his 28.9 percent shooting from the field. As mentioned, he was impressively efficient at the G League level this season, but that hasn’t translated into his limited 329 NBA minutes.

Sacramento general manager Scott Perry initially signed Hayes to consecutive 10-day contracts before inking a two-year deal with a reported team option for the 2026-27 season.

Perry has plenty of decisions and roster balancing ahead of him this offseason, but perhaps both Hayes and Jeffries could be competing for a spot come next training camp. Either way, their impressive production in the G League this season was deserving of the recognition and honors they received.
