The Sacramento Kings’ recent lottery pick, Devin Carter, selected with the 13th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, hasn’t made much of a mark with the primary club but continues to thrive when getting reps with their G-League affiliate in Stockton.

In Wednesday’s game against the Memphis Hustle, Carter was the leading contributor with 34 points, nine rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block on 9/18 from the field and 3/11 from three.

Two-way Isaac Jones player benefited from one of those assists, an electric transition alley-oop off the backboard.

In his three regular-season games with the Stockton Kings, Devin Carter is averaging 25 points, 10.3 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and 1.7 blocks on 48/43/75 shooting in his 34.9 minutes per night.

At 6’2, his impressive rebounding rate from college at Providence has translated to the NBA level. It’s a hopeful sign for his future NBA production, but having played just 168 minutes over 18 games with Sacramento, plenty still needs to be proven.

It was a sloppy first half, but the Sacramento Kings slowed down the Utah Jazz enough to start their road trip with a 118-101 win in the Delta Center.

Murray ended the night with a season-high 26 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two blocks on 9/16 from the field and 5/10 from three.

LaVine added 22 points, while DeRozan had 19 points and eight assists. Sacramento’s 26 bench points came solely from Valanciunas (15) and Ellis (11), who made their presence felt Wednesday night.

The Kings had a hyper-efficient night, shooting 52.9 percent from the field, 41.7 percent from three, and 91.7 percent from the free-throw line.

The first showing of their four-game road trip adds another tally to the win collum, improving their 2024-25 season record to 30-28.
