NBA GM Survey and the Sacramento Kings

As a rule of the survey, general managers were not allowed to vote for their own players, team, or personnel.

Sacramento shows up 10 times throughout the survey’s results. The team that finished third in the Western Conference last season is projected to finish seventh this year.

There were no mentions of the Kings in the player section and only one mention in the offseason moves. The Kings received votes for bringing over EuroLeague star Sasha Vezenkov but didn’t place inside the top five when general managers were asked about the most underrated player acquisition.

Sacramento got its most recognition in the coaches and miscellaneous section. League GMs believe coach Mike Brown runs the best offense and Jordi Fernandez is the best assistant coach in the league. Jay Triano also received votes as the best assistant coach in the NBA.

The Kings ranked within the Top 3 as the most fun team to watch, the team with the best home-court advantage, and the team expected to have the most efficient offense this coming season. General managers also believe guard De’Aaron Fox is the fastest player with the ball.

If there were a question about laser beams, the Kings probably would have claimed the top spot.
